I will be going back and forth between Birmigham, Alabama, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, for some training of the next few weeks and months so I finally to the plunge into the “blogosphere,” which is something I’ve been thinking about doing for some time. This will be a good way to give everyone I know back in Birmingham a glimpse of what winter (and summer) is like 1000 miles north. The name of my blog, North by Northwest, comes from the classic movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock and the fact that it looks like I will be flying north to MN on Northwest Airlines most of the time. It seemed fitting enough to me.
